During the MSW social work training
of second year, you need to work with a group. The main part of the group work
is choosing a group leader who can lead the group and can take the group to the
good level. While working with the group members, you will find many members who
have good leadership style. But there are some characteristics of a group
leader. Some of them are
•Effective communication: Communication is the part of any work. A
group leader must have good communication skills.
•Motivation: he must have good motivation skills.
•Proper Planning: a group
leader must have knowledge about how to make plans for the project. He can
access all of the available resources.
•Energetic: The energy level of the leader must be high so that
he can motivate other members in the group.
